1 teen jailed, another sought in connection with armed carjacking


The New Orleans Police say they’ve arrested one suspect and are looking for a second in reference to a November carjacking during which a 17-yr-previous was punched and ordered out of his automotive at gunpoint on Dwyer Street.

Authorities say Martel Williams, 18, was arrested Monday (Dec. four) for an impressive warrant in reference to one other armed carjacking in Gonzales. In accordance with a NOPD information launch, Williams advised investigators that he and Dejuan Noel, 18, dedicated the armed carjacking in New Orleans East on Nov. eight.

Williams has been booked with armed carjacking. Investigators are looking for Noel.
