BRIDGEPORT — The East Washington Avenue Bridge might be briefly closed on Thursday for development, officers stated.
The town posted on social media warning residents of the closure.
“The aim of this challenge is to assist accomplish mechanical and electrical repairs on account of storm and salt water injury,” the press launch stated.
The discharge stated a detour route can be set as much as offset the closure of the bridge that crosses over the Bridgeport Harbor. Visitors touring west shall be re-routed to River Road from Knowlton Road and visitors heading east can be despatched from North Washington Avenue to River Road from Housatonic Avenue.
The street shall be closed to visitors in each instructions on Thursday for about six hours, starting at eight a.m., the discharge stated. Restore work will start at 9 a.m. with the supply of crucial development gear.
