Glue found in Postal Service mailboxes may be work of theives

Some residents in a New Jersey metropolis have observed a glue-like substance on mailboxes is stopping their letters from taking place the chute.

The U.S. Postal Service says what’s occurring in Paterson is usually a way utilized by thieves to attempt to snatch envelopes containing money or checks.

Postal inspector Greg Kliemisch tells The Document the company has launched an investigation. He declined to say what number of incidents have been reported within the metropolis.
