A North Bergen school is mourning “precious angel” Nevaeh Hernandez, a 6-year-old kindergartner, who died Saturday from the flu.

Some Jersey City residents are having sticker shock after new tax assessments started rolling in this month. And not surprisingly, the reactions to the reval are at opposite ends of the spectrum in different neighborhoods.

Plus, Weehawken is trying out a commuter ban on one of its most congested roads.

For the third time in four years Jersey City has been named the most diverse city in the country.

In Sports, Toriano Munford scored 13 points to help lead 11th-seeded Hoboken to a 62-56 victory over 14th-seeded Kearny in the first round of the boys basketball Hudson County Tournament.
