LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – For a lot of households in Michigan placing meals on the desk and stretching each penny to cowl on a regular basis bills is a wrestle.
State Senator Curtis Hertel Jr. says one thing must be achieved about it.
He’s teaming up with the Michigan League for Public Coverage and the Meals Financial institution Council of Michigan for a city corridor assembly tonight to debate financial safety for households.
The senator will lead the “Meals for Thought” dialog to make sure all Michigan households have the funds for for meals, baby care, housing and different wants.
It’s all happening tonight on the Cristo Rey Group Middle on North Excessive road in Lansing.
The dialogue begins tonight at 6 p.m.
