The trial for Larry Welling of Moundsville started Monday morning.
Welling is dealing with felony drug fees after an incident that stemmed from a report of a stolen cellphone.
In accordance with a Moundsville Police patrolman, he was referred to as to the house of a pal of Welling’s for the report of a stolen cellphone. The patrolman stated that that is when the pal advised police they have been planning to prepare dinner meth at Welling’s home.
When officers arrived at Welling’s residence in Moundsville, they discovered lye and pseudoephedrine, which, in line with the prosecution, is usually present in one-pot meth labs.

The protection stated that Welling didn’t know that his buddies have been planning to prepare dinner meth in his basement, however the prosecution stated he admitted to purchasing the pseudoephedrine on the Bellaire Kroger.
Welling was indicted by the grand jury and is dealing with three felony expenses: working a clandestine drug lab, possession of precursors used within the making of meth, and conspiracy to commit working a clandestine drug lab.
