PORTLAND, Ore. — Authorities handcuffed a number of Oregon protesters who tried to dam a bus from taking immigrants to a Tacoma, Washington, detention middle.
Dozens of protesters lined up Wednesday afternoon outdoors a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Portland. They blocked the doorway and exit for a number of hours whereas a number of activists linked themselves collectively.
Federal Protecting Providers officers began arresting protesters at about 5:30 p.m. The company has not stated what number of have been detained. The Portland Mercury reportedthat six individuals have been handcuffed — three members of the chain and three of their supporters.
Movies confirmed Portland police putting hoods over the heads of protesters who have been sure collectively.
