PATERSON — Former Paterson Mayor Jose “Joey” Torres was sentenced to 5 years in jail Tuesday for utilizing metropolis staff to do work at a deliberate liquor distributorship owned by his relations.
Torres pleaded responsible on Sept. 22 to second diploma conspiracy to commit official misconduct.
