Federal authorities are investigating after a lady accused a fellow passenger of sexually assaulting her Tuesday night time on a United Airways flight that left from Newark Liberty Worldwide Airport.
The lady informed the FBI the assault occurred on a flight that landed at Charlotte Douglas Worldwide Airport.
Whereas a suspect was situated and a number of other individuals have been interviewed, an arrest has not been made, in accordance with a spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s North Carolina workplace.
The FBI is consulting with the U.S. Lawyer’s Workplace of the Western District of North Carolina on the case, the spokeswoman added.

In response to wsoctv.com, a seventy three-yr-previous man seated subsequent to a lady in her 30s put his palms between her legs and groped her. A flight attendant then moved considered one of them to a different seat, the report stated.
The person reportedly claimed his palms fell into her lap because of turbulence on the flight. He was escorted off the aircraft when it landed at about 10:30 p.m.
United stated it is cooperating within the investigation.
“The security of our clients is our prime precedence, and we’re working intently with authorities as they conduct their investigation,” a United spokeswoman stated in an e-mail to NJ Advance Media.
