Before the show starts, though, here’s a refresher on some notable local wins from Westminster week.

A total of about 3,200 dogs have competed during Westminster events this week, including 2,882 in the traditional breed show, which continues tonight. Of that number, 175 have come from New Jersey.

And here are some scenes from recent visit to the dog show:

7:30 p.m.: Just a few hours from now, one dog will be crowned best in show at the 2018 Westminster Kennel Club dog show. We’re following along live with all the action, from the remaining group competition to the final sprints around the ring at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

Need viewing information? The dog show runs from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 on FS1 (Fox Sports 1).

The first night of competition on Monday gave us the winners of the hound, toy, non-sporting and herding groups.

Here they are:

  • Herding group: Slick the border collie, from Schwenksville, Pennsylvania.

  • Toy group: Biggie the pug, from Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
